Thamesgate systems are intelligent in design and have been installed to protect environments, ranging from Datacentres, Comms, Energy Storage and Generator Rooms as well as archive stores. Our Fire Suppression Systems operate efficiently to protect life and property, whilst minimising any risk of damage to the room or equipment. -
Often referred to as ‘back up generators’ or ‘emergency power systems’, Generators are used to provide replacement power when the National Grid supply fails. These power failures are far more common than ever before.
Thamesgate can supply and install gas or diesel powered generators and can be supplied with an external fuel tank that will usually allow them to run for up to 48 hours before refuelling.
Thamesgate can design and build switchgear purpose made for the particular application which allows us to meet other requirements, e.g. metering, bus-couplers, isolation transformers ‘Castell’ interlocks and so on, can be incorporated. Bespoke switchgear may appear more expensive initially, but over the life of a data centre it will pay for itself in lower maintenance costs, increased functionality and reduced risk. -
