Test Weights Hire

Trent Lifting offer the hire of test weights to clients throughout the UK at competitive rates for on site load testing of cranes, plant and lifting equipment.

We stock over 400 Tonne of crane test weights from 250kg to 5 Tonne individual test weights available for rental,

Test weights hired from Trent Lifting can be collected from our centrally located depot in Scunthorpe as required or we can provide the transport for them to be delivered to you on site to any location in the UK.

We can also supply any required test weights accessories for your load testing application such as Lifting Beams, Lifting Cradles and Modular Spreader Beams for hire in various capacities from 25 Tonne SWL up to a capacity of 350 Tonnes on a single lift.

All types of safe load indicators can be repaired and calibrated by trained, competent Trent Lifting personnel and where required, statutory load testing and certification can be carried out.

Trent Lifting is able to carry out full equipment assessments and determine the requirements of each type of equipment. Once this is done, it is possible to implement a complete management control system to track and monitor each item so that its inspection status is known. This system can be tailored to the client's specific requirements and can be augmented by either a computerised database or a manual system. Also, if required, we can implement a tagging system which can be colour coded to suit the client's requirements so that equipment whose inspection is out of date is easily identifiable and can, therefore, be put out of use until the inspection has been completed.
