Crockery

Crockery is the term used for tableware that is used hold food for the purpose of eating or hold food for serving from the table. Crockery is often called dinnerware or tableware but does not refer to cutlery or glassware. However, crockery may also include tea and coffee sets. Common types of crockery include dinner plates, soup bowls, dessert bowls, side plates, serving plates, mugs, tea cups, saucers, butter dishes, coffee cups, espresso cups, teapot, coffee pots, sugar bowls, salt and pepper pots, oil dishes, vinegar dishes, bread plates, cappuccino cups, casserole dishes, tapas dishes, oven dishes and milk jugs. Crockery is used in hotels, bed and breakfasts, canteens, restaurants, delicatessens, universities, schools and offices.
