Paving

Paving is a type of construction that is used as a type of outdoor floor or surface covering. Common types include block paving, brick paving and there is also a modern type of paving known as segmental paver which allows for easy interconnecting. Types of paving include concrete, asphalt, flagstone, cobblestone, bricks, tiles, wood, tiles, bricks and wood. Paving can also be made by many recycled materials including crushed glass and building rubble. Paving is commonly used in domestic and commercial settings to create a walkway or add stability to the ground. Typical applications include pavement, driveways, patios, road surfacing, precincts and town centres.
