Inorganic Chemicals

Inorganic chemicals are chemicals formed from the elements that do not contain carbon-based compounds or are derived from living matter. Inorganic compounds are synthesised from geological systems, rather than being found in biological systems. The chemical industry transforms inorganic chemicals into the chemicals that are required for the manufacture of products for the consumer. They include substances such as ammonia, chlorine, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydroxide, methane and many more. Heavy inorganic chemicals that need to be produced in big volumes are normally manufactured by a continuous process, whereas speciality chemicals are manufactured using batch processing. Inorganic chemicals are used by the chemical industry to create the materials, chemicals and gases that are needed in manufacturing.
