Fragrances

Fragrances are used to give a pleasant smell to the home, humans, animals, fabrics, and objects. They are a mixture of fragrant essential oils or aroma compounds, fixatives, and solvents. Fragrances can also be classed as aroma-compounds, also known as an odorants, aromas, fragrances, or flavours. Aroma-compounds can be found in food, wine, spices, floral scent, fragrance oils, and essential oils. Fragrance is a term most widely used to describe perfumes or aftershaves worn by men and women and are usually derived from plant or animal products, although can also be synthetically produced. Fragrances are used in the beauty industry and food and drinks industry, and also in the household chemical industry.
