Pallet Wrappers
Pallet wrapping is the means of applying film around the goods on a pallet with the aim to stabilise protect and secure the cargo from tampering or theft. Pallet wrapping can also offer dust and moisture protection for pallets that are in storage, while some UV wraps can offer sun protection. The most traditional form of pallet wrapping involves stretch wrap or stretch film which is a very stretchable plastic film that is wrapped tightly around items. It is the elastic recovery keeps the items tightly bound. There are two main methods of pallet wrapping; the vertical development (wrapping from top to bottom) and the horizontal development (wrapping around). When it comes to the wrapping process, it can be undertaking manual (hand wrapping), semi-automated wrapping and full automated wrapping. Pallet wrapping is undertaken by any industry that handles goods in pallet form, industries include construction, building, freight industries, pharmaceutical, food, beverage and apparel.
