Height Measures

Height measures are used to gauge the height of children and adults for medical purposes. They work by measuring vertical distance and length to gauge how ‘tall’ people are. Height measures are commonly known as stadiometers, measuring rods and measuring stations. Common types of height measures are wall-mounted height measures, telescopic measuring rods, freestanding height measurers, digital measures, and mechanical stadiometers. Height measures are used on adult and paediatric patients by doctors and general professionals when a quick and accurate height measurement is required. They are commonly used in hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices and in institutes of medical research.
