Menswear

Menswear is the term used by designers, retailers, and fashion professionals to categorise the apparel offering to men in stores, on-line via e-stores and catalogues. The purpose of identifying a clear offering as menswear is to make it convenient for the customer, offer optimum fit but to also allow manufacturers and designers to focus on a niche area of expertise. It also allows for the creation of stores that specialise only in apparel ‘for him’. Common products forming menswear include tops, bottoms, jeans, shirts, blouses, shoes, jackets, coats, beachwear, swimwear, underwear, jewellery and accessories. Menswear is worn by males, typically sold in stores, online and via catalogues.
