Waterproof Trousers
Waterproof trousers as the name suggests are designed to protect one against water and use special materials and coating which makes them completely waterproof. Most waterproof trousers are normally made up of the same material which is used for waterproof coats, jackets etc. and come with Durable Water Repellent coating which makes them water repellent. Several trousers also use Aquafoil, a special hydrophilic substance which comes with DWR coating as the primary fabric as it doesn’t require additional DWR coating. The concept of showerproof and fully waterproof clothing is relevant to waterproof trousers also and there are both types of waterproof trousers available in the market.
