Software companies usually provide software support to consumers via various channels including a free-phone number, instant messaging or email. Software support can also be in-house, designed to provide assistance to employees. Software support is available to companies internal via an IT department or outsourced to an IT support service. It is also available to individuals who purchase IT products or services (often as part of the guarantee).
