Die Casting

Die casting is a process of manufacturing used to produce metal parts through forcing molten metal into a die cavity under high pressure. In die casting the desired shape is made with a very high degree of repeatability and accuracy which makes it useful in mass production. Types of die casting includes hot chamber die casting and cold chamber die casting. Types of metals used in die casting include zinc, aluminium, magnesium, copper, lead, and silicon tombac. Die casting is used in the tooling industry, to create metal tools as well as a wide range of commercial and industrial products like toys, automobiles, toys, sink faucets, gears and connector housing.
