Box Section Cutting
A box section is a type of metal profile with a hollow tubular cross section, it also known as A hollow structural section (HSS). Box section metal can be circular, round, rectangular, square (amongst other shapes). Often HSS can be produced or purchased in a continuous line which needs cut to fit, this process is known as box section cutting. The most common method of box setting cutting is a laser. Thanks to lasers, box sections can be made into various fabrications, of different sizes and takes the pain out of sewing, drilling, and punching to size. Box section cutting is typically used for industrial manufacturing applications but is also used by schools, small businesses, and hobbyist.
