Environmental Engineering

Environmental engineering protects the human population and its environment from adverse factors by applying scientific and engineering principles. It also deals with energy preservation and control of waste from human and animal actions. Environmental engineering is designed to find possible solutions for public health and deals with many environmental issues including wastewater management, recycling and industrial hygiene. There are many different aspects to the environmental engineer profession. Environmental engineering combines elements of the civil engineer that include systems design, transport engineering, water and geotechnical engineering. All of the aforementioned rely on specialised techniques to study the environment and helps to preserve it. Environmental engineers are continuously studying the environment and the people and animals within it. These engineers look at negative factors that affect the environment and the things growing within it and find solutions to enhance and improve it. Environmental engineers work in various different settings and locations alongside other engineers and their work can take them from the office to a construction site.
