Fabrication:
Fabrications Direct offer specialist sheet metal product manufacturing, steel fabrication and engineering, including a full design and prototyping service.

With over 20 years experience in precision metal work, we have in depth knowledge available to you. Based in Essex.

Rolling: We have various section rolling machines that allow us to radius upto 100mm hollow section to a tight 500mm radius.
Typical applications include: handrails for spiral staircases, large metal arches, railings, street furniture, gates and railings.

Punching: Our 30 ton punching machines have approximately 300 different tools ensuring whatever your punching requirements are we can meet them all. If a tailored punch is required we will venture to fulfill your requirements. We also have a Kingsland steelworker that is extremely versatile and is designed to enable multiple punching applications.

Fabrications Direct Welding Services: We specialize in mild steel Mig welding from 0.5mm to
15mm thick steel plate welding.  We also undertake specialized metal welding such as stainless steel Tig welding, Stud welding, Aluminium Tig welding and Arc welding.

Shearing: We can shear a various range of materials from 0.5mm to 6mm thick, up to 3 metres long.  If you require anything larger we will do whatever we need to make sure your order is fulfilled.

Fabrications Direct Powder Coating Services: Our powder coating plant has won Environmental Awareness awards for the Year 2009.... all serving as great testimony to our reputation.  With over 20 years of knowledge in the powder coating industry, we are confident we can provide you with the best quality service at realistic prices in the market sector you have chosen. Our staff - handpicked, for their knowledge and experience in powder coating - will endeavour to do whatever is needed to make sure your fabrications are delivered to you in tip top condition.
 

Bespoke Security Grills:
Here at Fabrications Direct we offer a bespoke security grill service,  We have extensive experience in the manufacture and installation of almost any type of steel security system.

We can even laser cut text and corporate logos into your bespoke security grills for a completely individual design, with our 3D cad package you get to see exactly how they will look before you place the order.

Our security grills are fully welded and powder coated and can be galvanized for ultimate corrosion protection. The grills are manufactured using 40mm x 40mm angle around the perimeter for ease of installation. Security grills can be manufactured for interior and exterior use.  With a massive range of colours (RAL) the installed security grills will blend into your surroundings.

Bow Top Fencing:
Our Bow Top decorative fencing can be finished in any colour or multi colourd to match your surroundings, It can be modular or made to your specific requirements. The Bow Top is manufactured as a minimum to comply with BS1722 part 9 where applicable and is available Hot Dip Galvanised to BS EN 1461 or Galvanised and Powder coated.

Smoking Shelters: All of our Smoking Shelters are manufactured in house and include vandal resistant polycarbonate roof and side panels. Our smoking shelters provide excellent cover all year round and can be powder coated to any colour.

Gas Bottle Cages: Fully enclosed cage for the storage of 8 x Size W gas cylinders.  The cage is constructed from fully welded box section with 10g mesh infill with a lockable door.  It is wall and floor mounted and finished in durable polymer powder coated finish in any RAL no. This cage is also available in a galvanised finish (optional extra).  This product is a necessity for manufacturing outlets and building sites.  Please choose options when ordering or we will make any cage to customer’s specifications on request.  Delivery 10-15 days.   Steel Storage Cages:
These steel storage cages can be designed and manufactured to any size and are fully welded and finished in red oxide as standard but can be finished in any standard colour or galvanised for ultimate corrosion protection.

we work hard to make sure our products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality. We pride ourselves on designing products that work for the customer, using the latest in CAD software we can design, build and test our products before our engineers have even had to use any tools.
