The Advocacy People

The Advocacy People provide professional advocacy services (statutory and non statutory) and other services related to advocacy and community voice.

The Advocacy People for Devon, Plymouth and Torbay

In Plymouth, The Advocacy People deliver statutory Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), Independent Care Act Advocacy (ICAA), Independent Health Complaints Advocacy (IHCA), and some non statutory community advocacy - plus Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) in partnership with Plymouth Highbury Trust.

In Torbay we deliver IHCA.

Our wider organisation delivers not only these, but other services related to advocacy and community voice - for example, Peer Advocacy and Self-Advocacy Groups, Learning, Disability Partnership Boards, Wellbeing Services, Local Healthwatch.

We are available to provide any such services across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay.
