Whether it's pre-painted mild steel, mirror polished stainless steel alloys, powder coated aluminium, zinc plated mild steel, Iridite treated aluminium name it and we have probable made sheet metal lids in it since the late 1980s. From our manufacturing base in Fareham, Hampshire, UK we can laser cut sheet metal lids, CNC punch them with dimples and ventilation louvres, CNC bend and safe edge and weld up sheet metal lids from 0.3mm thick tin plated mild steel to 6mm stainless support lids. So you have an idea for a lid design but are not quite sure how to go about it in sheet metal, we will be happy to take your idea and produce a 3D image for you so you can see if it's going to work for you before you commit to any manufacturing costs.
