KVM Switches

KVM switch or a keyboard, video and mouse switch is a device which is used for controlling multiple computers from single or multiple keyboards, video monitors and mice. Modern KVM switches can also allow one to share other peripherals such as USB and audio devices. KVM devices are used by people who need to simultaneously control and use several computers. A KVM switch can be connected to several computers, but practically it allows one to only control a small number of computers completely. Most KVMs are used in data centres where a few operators need to control multiple computers and USB slot is the primary method used for connecting devices to a KVM switch.
