Anti-Spamware

Anti-Spyware Software is a type of software that detects a type of malware called spyware and removes it from the computer. Spyware is installed on a computer without the owner’s knowledge, in order to harvest information from them. Anti-spyware software detects spyware using downloaded definition files that identify active, known spyware programs. Or, using rules-based detection methods. Anti-Spyware software is often included within anti-virus and firewall packages, but it’s also available as a stand-alone product. It can be used to scan the computer and find and remove spyware or can work much like an anti-virus by providing protection whenever the computer is connected to a network, and prevent spyware from being downloaded Anti-Spyware software is essential to any computer that accesses the internet to protect the computers files, and the wider network as a whole from the stealing and potential destruction of information, the slowing down of individual systems and network and fraudulent activities.
