Networking Software

Networking software is software which enables networking by allowing computer networks to interact with each other without the need for a cabled connection. This software enables users to be able to access shared programs or information and to transfer files. Once networking software is operational it then allows network software to be utilised. Networking software mainly works through the use of protocols which provide the computers with a language they can use to talk to each other. Network software exists for many different purposes such as communication, security and office productivity. It also protects data from being lost unlike data being stored on an individual’s computer. Networking software is also used for network operating systems such as Windows and to transfer files across the internet. The main use of Networking Software is to allow the sharing of information and applications without the need for a cabled connection. This ensures access to the widest possible range of domestic and business clients.
