The 10 Gigabit converter is equipped with one RJ-45 port with 10GBase-T and one SFP+ slot according to 10GBase-X. The SFP+ slot allows the use of all standard SFP+ available on the market which gives the device a very high flexibility.
The device is used mainly in Enterprise networks to combine the media copper and fiber together in a universal way.
The converter operates in a transparent mode and has a very short latency. Jumbo frames can be transmitted.
Colour coded LEDS are giving status information about the converter and can be used for failure diagnostics in the network.Features
