EPROM Erasers

An EPROM is a type of memory chip that retains data even when the power supply is turned off. An EPROM eraser is a type of electrical and testing equipment that is used to erase an EPROM. One method of doing this is by exposing the EPROM to a strong ultraviolet light source. EPROM erasers are also called erasable programmable read-only memory. Types of EPROM erasers include small desktop versions, handheld models and large capacity models for PC boards and wafer trays. EPROMS come in various different sizes in terms or physical size and storage capacity. EPROM erasers are used to meet the demands of small, medium and large volume production programming. They are most commonly used in production facilities, programming houses, and development companies.
