Miniature contact Raman probe designed to analyze samples at hard-to-reach places, such as inside small cavities, tissues, and miniature reactors. A single 200 µm core laser fiber for 785 nm excitation, surrounded by 9x 200 um core collection fibers, encased in a 3 mm OD, 150 mm long SS tube. The tip is sealed with a fused silica ball lens, which allows for high throughput and easy cleaning. The optical elements inside the needle are permanently fixed in alignment, with no possibility of movement due to impact or vibrations. Distal end of the collection fiber formed into a linear array in a SMA905 terminal, and laser fiber terminated in FC/PC. Fiber cable length 1.5 m. Rayleigh Rejection >>OD3. Raman Cut-off at 500 (cm-1). The probe can be used for immersion or direct contact measurements. Avoid strong acids, bases, or other chemicals that might attack fused silica or stainless steel.
