A chain transfer conveyer is for moving material through production lines. They utilise a powered continuous chain arrangement and is powered by a motor. The purpose of the chain transfer conveyor is to move product down an assembling line or to move heavy products into manufacturing or warehousing. The chain transfer conveyor can be made with one or two chains, depending on its purpose and works in pulling bulky equipment along by simply pulling the chains and creating friction. One chain can perform for lightweight loads, whereas two chains are essential if the load is heavy and bulky.
