Battery Powered Industrial Magnets

A battery powered industrial magnet differs from a more common permanent lifting magnet in that they use an on-board battery pack to power and magnetize the device. Due to the battery they are able to lift heavier loads, though batteries will need recharging. 

Radio control options are usually available on battery magnets to enable operation outside the danger zone. Certain models are able to pick up flat and/or round, cylindrical ferro magnetic materials.
