Trousers and Shorts

Cargo work trousers are designed to endure wear and tear associated with workplaces and they are especially useful for workers in manufacturing and industrial settings with a high risk of tearing of clothes. Cargo work trousers are much stronger than normal trousers and are made up of strong natural and synthetic fibres.

Chefs trousers refer the dark coloured, often checked trousers used by chefs in kitchens. Chefs are often required to present the food prepared by them in front of guests or visitors and most aprons cover only the upper part of body. So, it becomes necessary to use chef’s trousers as these allow one to work in the kitchen and present the food without a need for changing trousers.

Corporate office trousers are arguably the most widespread form of trouser which is used in almost every office and workplace irrespective of the industry or size of the office. Corporate office trousers come in a wide variety of colours, shades, sizes and are similarly made up of several materials.

Flame retardant trousers are used in several industries with a high risk of exposure to fire flames. As the name suggests these trousers are coated with special flame retardant chemicals which inhibits and suppress the chemical reactions responsible for spreading of fire.

Knee pad trousers as the name suggests have knee pads for protecting knee against any sort of work hazard such as impacts, shocks, falling objects etc. Knee pad trousers are essentially a modified version of cargo trousers and share many features with cargo trousers.

Painters trousers are mostly made up of cotton and are used extensively by all sort of painters, decorators and other personnel whose job requires them to work with paints or chemicals. These trousers can absorb all sort of paints and are easily washable. Most painter’s trousers come with multiple pockets for holding tools and brushes.

Poly cotton trousers are made up of polycotton which is essentially a mixture of polyester and cotton and offers the advantages of both the fabrics. Polycotton trousers provide more elasticity as compared to cotton and are cheaper than buying purely cotton trousers.

Waterproof trousers use a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating which makes them shower proof and water resistant. Waterproof trousers with taped seams are 100% water proof and are used in all industries where workers may need to wear waterproof clothing.

Work shorts are shorts designed for use in workplaces and as such have many features which are not found in normal shorts. Work shorts come with multiple pockets, hammer loops, ruler pockets, belt loops and may use rivet or button fastening mechanism. Most are made up of cotton, polyester or poly cotton.
