Showing 30 of 51 Products and Services
  1. HTV-N Indirect Process Air Heater

    HTV-N Indirect Process Air Heater
From 90 kW to 7 MW
Constructed from carbon or stainless steel to the highest specification, HTV-N Indirect Process Air Heaters provide clean hot air at up to 350°C. The heaters can be fitted with inspection and cleaning doors, condensate drains and water-resistant gaskets where the process demands and utilise specialist welding procedures to reduce the risk of particulate deposits on the heating surface.
HTV-N is supplied complete with a fully matched burner for gas or oil firing and an optional economiser for very high efficiency operation. The modulating burner provides exact control of the process air discharge temperature.
All HTV-N Indirect Process Air Heaters are custom designed to suit the specific demands of each installation. Process air flow ranges between 1,000 to 100,000 kg/h with air discharge temperature up to 350°C.
HTV-N heaters simplify and reduce the total cost of installation and operation when compared to traditional indirect heating methods. Particularly when planning new installations, the reduced space demand and ease of operation greatly reduce overall costs and normal operating maintenance demand.
  2. HW3P Hot Water Boiler

    HW3P Hot Water Boiler
    From 1.1 to 10.5 MW
HW3P Hot Water Boiler is a full 3-pass fired heater designed for operation with Natural Gas, LPG, Light Fuel Oil and a variety of specialist Bio-fuels. The robust and proven configuration of the HW3-P guarantees reliable boiler performance in all industrial heating applications.
HW3P is constructed with specially constructed burners for low NOx operation in full compliance with the Medium Combustion Plant Directive whilst still providing high operating efficiency and thereby very low overall emissions.
The HW3P boiler from Babcock Wanson provides a maximum water outlet temperature of 106 °C and is fitted with a multi stage or fully modulating burner to suit the process load and provide very close control of process water temperature.

  4. Industrial Hot Water Boilers

    Industrial Hot Water Boilers
Babcock Wanson designs and manufactures industrial burners with high efficiency and environmental performance. This means that burners from Babcock Wanson provide the best available technology.
  5. Industrial Procesds Air Heaters

    Industrial Procesds Air Heaters
Babcock Wanson’s experience in boiler house solutions goes far beyond manufacturing the boiler or heat processing equipment. That’s because every installation is different and, to achieve maximum efficiency, we adapt and integrate our systems to meet our customer’s needs. There’re very few challenges we haven’t seen and overcome!
  6. Industrial Water Treatment

    Industrial Water Treatment
The daily operation of industrial equipment is very important because it maintains a high level of energy and environmental performances, improved equipment availability and better risk management. For daily operation or to respond effectively to an emergency, it is essential to have knowledgeable and skilled staff.
To get the most out of your Babcock Wanson equipment we offer a range of flexible training options, covering:
    • Economical operation of the boiler house
    • Intermittent boiler monitoring systems
    • Operation of thermal fluid heaters
    • Water treatment
    • Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) training for industrial boiler operators and boiler plant managers (UK only)
Our experienced trainers provide in-house or external courses suited to the needs of differing personnel, from operators and maintenance staff through to managers. All training includes an overview as to operation, a detailed explanation of how the equipment works and fault diagnosis, along with practical hands on operational training for those that need it.
Around 600 people attend the Babcock Wanson courses each year. Whether on the Babcock Wanson test platforms or directly on site installed equipment, our trainers will teach the necessary actions and impart the knowledge required to ensure reliable equipment operation.
Please contact us for more information on training.
  7. NBWB Series Fire Tube Steam Boiler

NBWB Series Fire Tube Steam Boiler
    Steam outputs from 250 kg/h to 2500 kg/h
The NBWB series of Fire Tube Steam Boilers provides users with high quality dry steam up to 2500 kg/h, whilst maintaining low fuel consumption and operating costs.
  8. Steam Boilers

    Steam Boilers
The Steam Superheater from Babcock Wanson is an independently fired coil type heating system that converts saturated steam to superheated steam. The most common reasons for needing superheated steam is either to reduce the risk of condensation of the steam when transferring it to the point of use, or when the kinetic energy in the high-pressure steam is to be used, the energy in the steam must be maximised and condensation must be avoided.
  9. TPC-AS Series Industrial Hot Water Boilers

TPC-AS Series Industrial Hot Water Boilers
    Outputs between 500,000 and 2,000,000 kCal/h (581 to 2,326 kW)
TPC-AS is a vertical fired, coil type Hot Water Boiler designed for operation with water at high pressure and temperature. The concentric coils, flame reversal combustion chamber and three full gas pass configuration ensures high efficiency and very safe and simple operation.
TPC-AS is fitted with a Babcock Wanson burner specifically developed for this duty and perfectly matched to the combustion chamber for high efficiency, low emission operation. Burner control can be simple two stage or fully modulating control depending on the process requirements.
  10. Turnkey Solutions

    Turnkey Solutions
he financial case for refurbishing or upgrading an old boiler house is a strong one. Aging heat raising equipment is often inefficient because it can guzzle fuel and lacks modern temperature control. Investing in modern systems is not always possible, so Babcock Wanson offers attractive refurbishment and upgrade services for all Steam, Hot Water and Thermal Fluid Boilers, and the boiler house installation as a whole, to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
For heavy boiler works, or for optimizing boiler room performance, Babcock Wanson provides its expertise to help guide investment choices.
    • Repair and renovation of boilers of all types and all brands. Babcock Wanson offers in depth assessment of pressure equipment and associated ancillary equipment by inspection and performance of non-destructive testing to support it. This permits evaluation of the potential benefits of a boiler replacement or refurbishment work to existing equipment.
    • Update of the automation and operating modes: The automation and operating controls of industrial boilers have developed a lot over recent years. Babcock Wanson is able to undertake an upgrade of existing boilers and equip them with less restrictive operating controls. Starting with an inventory of the boiler house, a detailed analysis of current controls and operation will lead to a costed proposal for upgrade works (PLC upgrades, sensor updates, fitting of high integrity and SIL rated controls and many other improvements)
Audisteam Energy Audit: To anticipate cost reductions associated with equipment and operating improvements, Babcock Wanson has developed Audisteam, a steam boiler house analysis tool which can quantify potential fuel savings before investment.
