  1. DC Disconnects & Arc Fault Detectors

DC Disconnects & Arc Fault Detectors
DC Disconnects or isolating switches are used for opening or closing a circuit, e.g. for plant maintenance and repair. In photovoltaic applications, the DC Disconnect helps to isolate the PV generator from the remaining electrical system. Arc fault detectors monitor systems and plants with regard to hazardous arcs. They detect arcs early in the formation phase and help to prevent fire hazard.
  2. DC Disconnect with remote control and arc fault detection PVREM- -AF1

DC Disconnect with remote control and arc fault detection PVREM- -AF1
The powerful DC Disconnect PVREM- -AF1 on a hybrid basis allows disconnection of the DC side of a photovoltaic system in proximity of the modules (or directly below the cable outlet) by means of the integral remote control module. Disconnection of the DC lines within the building ensures a high degree of safety for individualsÐin Ðhazardous situations such as fire or flood and also during Ðmaintenance works.

The additionally integrated arc fault detection feature, tested to the standard UL 1699B, detects hazardous DC arc faults in the PV system and trips the DC Disconnect immediately by means of the remote control. Disconnection of the circuit helps to extinguish serial arc faults already before any safety-critical situations can arise. DC arc faults can be caused by defective components such as connectors, cables, PV modules and junction boxes due to ageing, animal bite, heavy snowfall or mounting and installation errors. The integral arc fault detector now allows realisation of fire prevention in photovoltaic systems. Remote disconnection and reconnection provide ease of reset and thus high system availability even in large roof-mounted solar installations.

The E-T-A technology of arc fault detection significantly enhances the safety of photovoltaic systems.
  3. DC Disconnect with remote control PVREM-

DC Disconnect with remote control PVREM-
The powerful DC Disconnect type PVDIS- can be adjusted to customer's requirements by additional functions in a modular design. In order to provide a remote control function the electronic control unit will receive a command e.g. via an external three position momentary switch (I-0-II) and the motor will switch the DC Disconnect on or off. It must be ensured the supply voltage in the application is maintained without fail. Information on the switch position can be transmitted to a centralised control room via an auxiliary contact (changeover contact).
  4. DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems

DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems
Ideally suited to the design of power distribution units, e.g. in a control cabinet, where circuit breakers or protectors are connected to a common entry line and protect individual loads and supply lines against overcurrent and short circuit. All mechanical elements required for the design as well as electrical wiring is included in the power distribution system. These solutions are also available as 19" racks.
  5. DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SBG-1170-05-V0060

DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SBG-1170-05-V0060
The power distribution system has been designed to accommodate plug-in type thermal circuit breakers type 1170-21, 1180 and 1610. It is a printed circuit board module for rail mounting. Typical applications are mainly in control cabinets for utility vehicles and special vehicles and for mobile construction machinery.
  6. DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SVS02

DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SVS02
The E-T-A power distribution system SVS02 is designed to accommodate the electronic circuit breaker series ESS20-003. It distributes the current supplied by a switch mode power supply up to 40 A to 4, 8, 12 or 16 channels. Mains connection is via screw terminals. The individual circuit breakers can be plugged in. Loads are connected via spring-loaded screwless terminals. The power distribution includes integral wiring of the signalisation of the individual channels which can be combined to a group signal. The SVS02 can be snapped onto a DIN symmetrical rail. Suitable for: ESS20-003, ESX10-103, 2210-S21. 3600
  7. DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SVS04

DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SVS04
The power distribution system SVS04 for DIN hat rail mounting is designed to distribute the current supplied by a switch mode power supply to 4 or 8 positions and selectively protects the connected loads by means of the plugged in circuit breakers. With a max. load current of 8A per channel and a max. total current of 40A the power distribution system SVS04 provides ease of wiring in short circuit current limited DC24V applications. Five protected "L+" load outputs per position and 15 or 30 minus terminals reduce wiring time enormously.

The 4 or 8 positions accommodate the electronic circuit breaker ESS20-003, the electronic circuit protector ESX10-103, the thermal-magnetic circuit breakers 2210-S21. and 3600 as well as the adapter P10.
  8. DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SVS09

DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SVS09
The SVS09 power distribution system with integral signalling module optimises DC 24 V distribution at the machine-oriented field level in automated process control, production plants and power plants. Offering 10-plug-in sockets for electronic and thermal-magnetic circuit breakers and an integrated alarm handling function for single and group signalisation, the SVS09 distribution board can be cascaded on the master-slave principle to meet specific requirements. This cascading allows transducers, actuators, valves, distributed PLCs, intelligent terminals etc. to be clustered into distinct function groups and to be conveniently incorporated into the plant's overall alarm monitoring scheme. Particularly for applications with a great number of sensors/actuators, the SVS09 offers possibilities for cost- and space-saving in the design of control cabinets.

Each load circuit that is interrupted by an overload or short circuit trip always generates a single alarm. In addition, a group alarm for the entire SVS09 cascade is induced which will be acknowledged by means of a command element (momentary switch, relay, PLC) either locally in the control cabinet or remotely in the control room. Acknowledging the group alarm immediately reactivates the group signalling function of the SVS09 cascade remobilising it for new incoming short-circuit or overload messages.

The power distribution system SVS09 is mounted on a symmetrical rail and accommodates 10 electronic or thermal-magnetic circuit breakers. All terminals (line entry DC +24 V, GND (-) for self-supply, load outputs L(+), signalling and acknowledgment) are spring-loaded terminals.
  9. DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SVS14

DIN Rail Mount Power Distribution Systems SVS14
The power distribution system SVS14-10 optimises DC 24 V distribution on the field level in automated process control, industrial production and chemical plants. The system holds an integral ammeter (display 25 A) for the total current and offers ten ways for electronic and thermal-magnetic circuit breakers including group signalling. It allows protection of transformers, actuators, solenoids, peripheral PLCs, intelligent terminals etc. on the field level. Particularly for systems with a great number of sensors/actuators the SVS14 power distribution system enables a space-saving and cost-effective design of protection control cabinets.

Any load circuit which might be disconnected due to overload or short circuit generates a single signal which will be summarised in a group signal directly on the power distribution system and which will be fed back directly to control.

The SVS14 is a track-mountable system and accommodates 10 electronic or thermal-magnetic circuit breakers. All terminals (entry line DC +24 V, GND (-) for self-supply, load outputs L(+) and group signalling are standard screw terminals.
