The electronic circuit breaker type ESS22-T extends the E-T-A product range of electronic circuit protection for DC 24 V applications. It is a double pole version providing physical isolation. It meets the requirements of the machinery directive 2006/42/EC and the affiliated standard EN 60204-1 "Safety of Machinery, Electrical Equipment of Machines", para 9.4.3.1.

The combination of active electronic current limitation in the event of a short circuit and overload disconnection from 1.1 times rated current provides double pole selective protection of DC 24 V load systems.

DC 24 V power supplies, which are widely used in industry today, will shut down the output in the event of an overload with the result that one faulty load in the system can lead to complete disconnection of all loads. As well as an unidentified failure this also means stoppage of the whole system.

The SSRPC E-1072-128 fully complies with the requirements of the EC Machinery Directive or EN 60204 part 1 »Safety of Machinery - Electrical Equipment of Machines« in systems with ungrounded power supply (»IT system«).

The E-1072-128 is a double pole solid state remote power controller for electromagnetic valves (solenoids), magnetic brakes and clutches with a rated voltage of DC 24 V and a max. current rating of 3 A. Besides a genuine circuit breaker function it offers additional diagnostic functions.

The SSRPC type E-1072-128 can be used as a replacement for the SSRPC version E-1071-128.

The Economy Power-D-Box® is a compact 2U power distribution system made of aluminium.

Electronic circuit breaker type ESS20-0.. is designed to ensure selective disconnection of individual loads in systems which are powered by a DC 24 V switch-mode power supply. For optimal adjustment to the application conditions the current rating of the ESS20-0.. can be selected by a switch (3 A or 6 A). Failure and status indication are provided by a bicolour LED and an integral signal contact. The ESS20-0.. features a width of only 12.5 mm and can be plugged into the E-T-A power distribution socket Module 17plus, ensuring ease of installation and saving space in control cabinets.

The model ESS31-T extends our product group of electronic overcurrent protection devices for DC 24 V applications. At a width of only 12.5 mm it provides selective protection for all DC 24 V load circuits. This is achieved by a combination of active electronic current limitation in the event of a short circuit and overload disconnection at typically 1.2 times rated current. The ESS31-T is track-mountable and provides ease of installation for groups of devices with several circuits.

Through selective disconnection the ESX10 responds much faster to overload or short circuit conditions than the switch-mode power supply. This is achieved by active current limitation. The ESX10 limits the highest possible current to values between 1.3 to 1.8 times the selected rated current of the circuit protector. Thus it is possible to switch on capacitive loads of up to 20,000 µF lamp loads, but they are disconnected only in the event of an overload or short circuit.

For optimal alignment with the characteristics of the application the current rating of the ESX10 can be selected in fixed values from 0.5 A - 12 A. Failure and status indication are provided by a multicolour LED and an integral short-circuit-proof status output or a potential-free signal contact.

The ESX10, with a width of only 12.5 mm, can be plugged into the E-T-A power distribution socket Module 17plus ensuring ease of installation and saving space in control cabinets.
