    The model ESX10-Sxxx extends our product group of electronic overcurrent protection devices for DC 24 V applications. At a width of only 12.5mm it provides selective protection for all DC 24 V load circuits. This is achieved by a combination of active electronic current limitation in the event of a short circuit and overload disconnection typically from 1.2 times rated current. The ESX10-S is a plug-in type and thus allows quick and easy installation for groups of devices with several circuits on the power distribution systems Module 17plus and SVSxx.

    The ESX10-TB-101-DC24V-16A is an extension of the ESX10-T range for DC24V and is the first product to complete a comprehensive protection range with ratings from 0.5 A to 16 A. At a width of only 12.5mm it provides selective protection for all DC 24 V load circuits. This is achieved by a combination of active Ðelectronic current limitation in the event of a short circuit and overload disconnection typically from 1.15 times rated current. The ESX10-T is track-mountable and provides ease of installation for groups of Ðdevices with several circuits.

    Electronic circuit protector type ESX10-TC is designed to ensure selective disconnection of DC 12 V load systems.

    DC 12 V power supplies, which are widely used in industry today, will shut down the output in the event of an overload with the result that one faulty load in the system can lead to complete disconnection of all loads. As well as an unidentified failure this also means stoppage of the whole system.

    Through selective disconnection the ESX10-TC responds much faster to overload or short circuit conditions than the switch-mode power supply. This is achieved by active current limitation. The ESX10-T limits the highest possible current to 1.3 to 1.8 times the selected rated current of the circuit protector. Thus it is possible to switch on capacitive loads of up to 20,000 µF, but they are disconnected only in the event of an overload or short circuit.
