Lee-Dickens is a private limited company which was started by an ex Royal Navy engineer in 1962. It has been involved in the design and manufacture of high integrity industrial and military process monitoring and control systems ever since.

    Isolating Signal Converter - DC Powered - DIN Rail Mounting
    Isolating signal converter which will convert a range of process signals into standard transmission voltage or current signals. The BM303 first conditions the signal before feeding it through an opto-isolating circuit. Both the input and the output stages of the instrument are powered from separate secondaries of the inverter maintaining 3 port isolation.

    Signal amplifier that will convert the input from a Load Cell or Strain Gauge (Full or Half Bridge) into a standard transmission voltage or current signal. The DIN380 supplies the transducer excitation voltage and then conditions the resulting mV signal. The DIN380 includes remote sensing input terminals to ensure that the correct voltage is applied at the transducer if it is remote from the conditioning device. The DIN380 includes as standard, zero and span potentiometers for site tuning (~:±10%) and a Resistor Test Facility to simulate a known weight/force.

    A 4 to 20mA signal isolator that requires no external power supply. The power for the isolator is derived from the input loop. Typically the MIN310 could be used to provide a second isolated 4 to 20mA from an existing isolated loop. This would then allow two non-isolated inputs (e.g. an RTU input and a local indicator input) to monitor the same 4 to 20mA loop. If the input loop was not isolated you would need to use either a BM320 (24 Volt DC powered) or a BD320 (230/115 Volt AC powered) dual output isolator.

    Low input impedance (10 ohms) isolating signal converter for use in 4 to 20mA loops. The BM916 will convert the 4 to 20mA signal into standard active and passive (current sink) transmission voltage or current signals. The BM916 first conditions the signal before feeding it through an opto-isolating circuit. Both the input and the output stages of the instrument are powered from separate secondaries of the inverter maintaining 3 port isolation.

    The DIN500 consists of a multi-functional analogue computing circuit which is factory calibrated as either a divider, multiplier, squarer, square root extractor or rectangular weir lineariser. If the measured process variable is temperature dependent, such as flow for instance, then the DIN500 can also be factory calibrated to accept a temperature compensation input for mass flow computation.
