EN12101-2 Tested AOV Casement Window
A casement window automatic opening vent (AOV) can be built into a vertical wall as a fire safety feature. In the event of smoke build-up the vent will open and clear your building of toxic fumes. At Rocburn we can supply you with the casement window made of aluminium and glass and suitable for installation as a bottom, top, or side-hung window.
It can be installed into a wooden, concrete or curtain wall for inwards or outwards opening with the added option of acoustic infill to surround the window. All of the smoke ventilation and fire safety equipment we offer is fully tested in line with the BS EN12101-2 quality regulations.

EN12101-2 Tested Flat Roof Louvre AOV
Flat roof louvres are designed to be installed into the roof of your building to allow smoke to escape in the event of fire. Made with an extruded aluminium frame and strong enough to withstand shocks of up to 1200 joules, the flat roof louvre can be remote controlled or have a thermal release system built into it so the blades open when a certain temperature is reached inside your building.
The louvre can have an anodised finish or we can use RAL paint. All of the smoke and heat control equipment we offer here at Rocburn is fully tested using the methods laid down the in BS EN12101-2 quality regulations.

EN12101-2 Tested Louvre AOV
Louvre automatic opening vents (AOV) can be mounted onto your wall to allow smoke to leave your building in the event of a fire. Our smoke louvres come with an extruded aluminium profile that can be built into any wall material, with an anodised finish or the option of using RAL paint. Full details of the louvre can be found on our website or by giving us a call.
The louvre has a shock resistance of up to 900 joules and can be remote controlled or have a thermal release system that opens the blades when a certain temperature is reached in your building. As with all our smoke control equipment the louvre is fully tested in accordance with BS EN12101-2.

Engraved Single Gang Face Plate
A single gang face plate covers your actuator switch if you are controlling one window opener or bank of openers. It keeps all the electrics safe and secure and allows for operation of your actuator between open and closed settings. With an engraved version you can have the two switch settings clearly marked to make using the actuator as simple as it can be.

Extendable Brass Opener Pole 1.5-2 Metres
An extendable winding pole allows you to reach high level screw jack window openers. The hook on the end of the winding pole fits through the screw jack so that you can turn it to open and close the window to the right distance. Here at Rocburn we stock all types of winding pole, with distances and materials to suit you.
One option is the extendable brass opener that comes as a 1.5 metre length and can be extended a further half metre. The brass finish makes it a smart and elegant item that won't look out of place if you need to store it in a conservatory or orangery to open up a window or vent.

Fireman's Override Key Switch
A fireman's switch allows you or your designated fire officer to reset and close your smoke ventilation systems following a drill or emergency. Fireman's Override Key Switch Set With Cover and Tag
If you have smoke vents in place in case of fire then a fireman's override switch is also an essential piece of kit. The switch allows a fire officer to close the vents once the threat from fire has been eliminated and the smoke has been removed from the building. And during routine testing and drills the switch allows you to simple reset the vents to their usual position.

Following a fire or a drill your smoke vents will need to be closed and your control systems reset. And that's where having a fireman's override switch in place is important. The switch lets you or your fire officer reset the smoke control systems including your vents and alarms once they are satisfied that the danger has been successfully removed.

A cover will ensure that any knocks to the switch cause no damage, and no deliberate tampering is possible. And that way you know that your smoke control systems will be in good working order in the event of an emergency.
