WP309-1.8 Metre Window Winder Pole Chrome
Winding poles are designed to adjust traditional screw jack window openers. You just hook the end of the pole onto the bottom end of the screw jack and turn the handle to set the window to the opening distance you want. At Rocburn we stock winding poles in various materials and distances to suit the height of your window and screw jack.
Among the poles we offer is the WP309-1.8 metre option in chrome. Its total distance is 1950mm in length, with a 145mm turning handle. To ensure you choose the right winding pole try and measure the distance between your screw jack and where you will be when adjusting it. WP309-1 Metre 1 Metre Window Opener Pole Brass
The WP309-1 Metre winding pole is our smallest winding pole providing you with a total distance of 1180mm with which to reach up and turn your screw jack opener. The brass winding pole looks smart and elegant and can be used to open screw jack openers on vents, conservatory pitched windows, or low level vertical windows.
When using the winding pole you need to stand as parallel as possible to the angle of the screw jack. And be sure to work out the distance between yourself as you stand parallel to the opener and the screw jack and order a winding pole of that distance or slightly less. It's better to have to reach for your screw jack than to have a winding pole that's too long.

A winding pole hooks onto your screw jack window opener so that you can open and close it whenever you need more or less natural ventilation. That combination of screw jack and winding pole is ideal for conservatory vents and windows that are on a pitched gradient. To use the pole you just stand parallel to the angle of the screw jack and connect the pole.
