What is CIP?

CIP or in its full form, Cleaning In Place, is defined as Equipment and techniques to allow cleaning of process equipment without dismantling or manual cleaning with minimal operator involvement.

  1. Cleaning In Place And Sterilising

    Cleaning In Place And Sterilising
    Suncombe have been manufacturing IBC handling solutions for in excess of 20 years. The IBC discharge station mounts a single or more IBCs which are connected to a transfer pump for IBC discharge. Instrumentation allows for discharge at controlled rates and sensing when the IBC is low. At this point the system can automatically switch to another IBC or come to a controlled stop. After discharge, if the cleaning option has been included, the IBC can be cleaned prior to removal and replacement.

    The ControlSuite™ is the latest version of the Suncombe Process automation system that has been developed over the last 50 years. Every version of our Process automation system uses current technological equipment, which has been proven to be robust and reliable. Our first process systems were supplied in the 1960's and the current system has been developed over the last 10 years and there are numerous versions operating around the world.
  3. DrumWasher

    DrumWasher
    Built to hygienic and sanitary standards and complying with ASME BPE, GAMP, ISPE and 21CFR11, the DrumWashers are designed for the cleaning of drums, buckets, kegs, carboys and other containers. Designed to allow combinations of different sized containers to be cleaned, the drum washers can also be used for cleaning any other components, either by placing them in the washing chamber or using special racks. The Drum Washer provides liquid heating, chemical dosing, air drying, valving, pumps, instrumentation and an in-built control system.

    DuoBooth
    The Suncombe IBCWashBooth™ is a high specification unit, using an innovative spray technique, that offers a contained, validatable unit to clean and dry Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs). Achieving excellent cleaning using high impact accurate spray targeting, they incorporate existing and new technologies to provide an environmentally friendly, low water and energy usage washing facility for IBC washing. The Suncombe DuoBooth™ is used on high throughput systems, where two IBCs are cleaned simultaneously in a single booth.

    The EDS+ system is a pre-designed system consisting of 2 vessels, which are used for both collection and treatment. With capacities to suit the waste volume, the systems are supplied with controls and interlocking functionality to ensure containment is always maintained and there is always a positive release prior to discharge of treated waste.
