The Tandler series KD speed modulation gearbox is used for inline shaft phasing or narrow range speed control. These gearboxes can be used as a 1:2 speed increaser or a 2:1 reducer, it depends on which shaft is used as the input, either the d1 or d2. Shaft phasing and narrow range speed control are affected by a worm gear mounted onto the bevel gear. The KD and KD2 are available in 6 different sizes.

The Tandler series PD2 Double Planetary speed modulation gearbox is an inline dual stage planetary gearbox used for inline shaft phasing or narrow range speed control. The unit is offered in a 1:1 ratio and is available in 7 standard sizes.

The Tandler series PE2 Single Planetary speed modulation gearbox is a single stage planetary gearbox used for inline shaft phasing or narrow range speed control. These units can be used as a 3:1speed reduction or a 1:3 speed increasing gearbox depending on which shaft is used as the input. The PE2 is available in 7 standard sizes.

This Tandler right angle planetary bevel gearbox is one of the most versatile designs on the market. The planetary input can have up to 3 stages, which in combination with the spiral bevel ratio, allows ratios up to 6000:1 to be offered. The spiral bevel output stage again opens the user up to the full range of Tandler spiral bevel gear options. Maximum torque up to 1400Nm 9 Standard sizes with ratios up to 6000:1 Standard backlash 7-8 arc minutes Reduced backlash down to 3 arc minutes The bevel section of this gearbox can be configured in any spiral bevel configuration Tandler offers. the result is an unmatched design flexibility, including auxiliary output shafts, a hollow output shaft, engage/disengage and reversing capabilities to name a few.

The SKP-FS range has a spiral bevel input stage and a planetary output, allowing greater output torques than the PSK2-FS, but with limitations on input speeds. Maximum torques up to 1700Nm 4 Standard sizes with ratios up to 54:1 Standard backlash 7-8 arc minutes Reduced backlash down to 3 arc minutes This allows for greater output torques, but has lower input speed constraints.

The SP2 is a combination of spiral bevel, planetary and worm gear technology to allow for changes in the angular position of the output shaft relative to and at right angles to the input shaft. They also provide the capability to vary the output speed within a narrow range. SP2 gearboxes are available in 7 sizes and 8 standard ratios.
