Liquid Level Sensors

Liquid level sensors are devices, usually employing photodiode technology, which can monitor fluid levels in a variety of liquid level sensing applications. This optical monitoring of fluid levels is especially useful as the sensor can be isolated from the actual material that is being monitored, and it actually contains no moving parts. Optical level sensors in liquid level sensors can have simple low and high indicators or linear arrays are also available using photodiode technology. The latter enables precise and sophisticated readings to be taken. Liquid level sensors are particularly useful in applications with harsh materials, such as chemicals and fuels, as the sensor is isolated and does not come into contact with the material itself. They are also used extensively in laboratory applications and the pharmaceutical industry, liquid level sensors pose no contamination risk.
