Mylar washers are often used on a vast array of different applications, including electrical and duct insulations. Mylar is a polyester film type material, and therefore the washers are extremely tough and rugged and the material has some flexibility too. Mylar is supplied in a transparent colour, our range of Mylar washers has excellent resistance to both moisture and chemicals. Furthermore, as Mylar doesn't contain any plasticizers it will not become brittle when exposed to hot or cold temperatures.
