The extra diameter enables greater absorption and better dyking when higher volumes of liquid are involved. The extra strong secondary netting enables secure movement of the boom once saturated without it splitting. A spring clip is strategically positioned at one of the boom so that it can be attached to the secure ring at the end of an adjoining boom.
