Vehicle Bodies

Vehicle bodies, also known as vehicle frames, are the supporting structure of all automotive vehicles. They provide a structure (or a skeleton to which all other components are attached). Nearly all of today’s cars have migrated to a structure whereby the chassis and bodywork are integrated in a unibody construction. Common types of vehicle bodies include ladder type frame, X-type frame, off set frame, off set with cross member frame, and Perimeter frame. Vehicle bodies form an essential part of every automotive. They support the vehicle’s mechanical body and components and handle static and dynamic loads.
