Induction Hobs
Induction cooking works by heating a cooking utensil or vessel through magnetic induction. In an induction hob, a pan is placed on a smooth hob and inductive heat directly heats the pan and, therefore, cooks the food. It is a type of cooking that is much quicker than thermal or electrical hob cooking. Types of induction hobs include built-in induction hobs (including single and double zones), freestanding slide-in induction hobs and portable induction hobs. Induction hobs are used domestically and by many sectors of the catering industry including restaurants, cafes, and hotels. They are a popular choose for food that has to be cooked fast or at a consistent and even temperature.
