Laptops

Laptops also known as notebooks were developed from portable computers and have become the preferred form of personal computers of masses. Although, initially laptops were designed to be used for people who travel a lot and offered just some basic functions normally found in a computer, this has changed with time and modern laptops are an even match for most desktop computers. Due to the portability, small form factor and strong computing capabilities, laptops have since long overtaken desktop computers in terms of sales and popularity. Now almost for a decade there are more laptops sold than desktop computers every year. Laptops cost and performance can vary greatly and there are also some disadvantages of laptops as their small and compact shape doesn’t allows one to upgrade hardware as easily as a desktop computer.
