Photo Printers

Photo printers are specially designed printers whose only goal is to print high quality digital photos. Although, many printers both colour and black can be used for printing photos the quality is not high enough and this is especially true for black and white printers. The quality of photos printed using a photo printer rivals that of 35 mm film print. Photo printers also have some special features designed for professional photographers and enthusiasts alike such as the memory card slot which allows one to print a photo directly from a phone or digital camera memory card. Photo printers mostly use inkjet or dye sublimation (a type of wax based thermal printing) technology and often print only on special photo grade paper.
