Loft Hatches

A loft is a space directly under the roof of a house which is used as a room or as storage. A loft hatch is a door used to gain access to the loft. It consists of a two-piece assembler, where the frame is separate to the lid. To gain access to the loft or attic, the door (also known as a lid) needs to be lifted up and pushed into the loft space. Loft hatches are also known loft doors, an attic hatch, and attic doors. Loft hatches are commonly used to access lofts in both domestic and commercial properties.
