Tills

Tills, also known as cash registers, are electronic or mechanical devices used for calculating transactions, registering sales, managing inventory, printing receipts and storing cash. They are commonly found in retail environments at the cash desk or cash register. A wide range of tills is available subject to the specification of the retail environments but common types of tills include manual tills, and EPOS tills – while common types of till (point of sale equipment) includes scanners, scales, receipt printers, and security deactivation. Tills are commonly found in a wide range of retail environments which enables the customer to pay products. Such establishments include supermarket, hypermarkets, butchers, bakers, restaurants, cafes, cinemas, theatres and other establishments.
