Oscilloscope Probes

Oscilloscopes are an equipment type which is used to monitor changes of electrical signals over a period time. These changes include voltage as well as time which then describe a shape which is calibrated against a scale. The end waveform can be analysed for time interval, rise time, amplitude and distortion. Oscilloscope probes, often called scope, are essential parts of oscilloscopes for fault finding in electronics equipment. There are two type oscilloscope probes which are passive oscilloscope probes and active oscilloscopes probes. Passive oscilloscopes are the most common types of probes while active oscilloscopes enable greater levels of functionality. Oscilloscope probes are essential components of oscilloscopes. They are commonly used in the field of manufacture, design and repair electronic equipment. This includes the world of electronics, automotive engineering and medical research.
