Samarium Cobalt Magnets

Samarium cobalt magnets are rare earth magnets, which are part of the permanent magnet family, and are made of an alloy of cobalt and samarium. Samarium Cobalt are used in high temperature applications which need high magnetic performance and magnetic stability over a wide range of temperatures. Samarium cobalt magnets are available in two "series" type, Series 1:5 and Series 2:17. Samarium cobalt magnets are used in a variety of industries and applications, particularly in the fields of military, automotive, marine, and aerospace. Applications include motors and electric motors, turbo machinery, sensors, travelling-wave tubes, critical applications, pump couplings, humid environments and high temperature applications.
