Integral Seal Screws

Integral seal screws, also known as self-sealing screws, are ideal for use in applications where it is necessary to prevent gases or fluids from either entering or being released from areas, such as in external waterproof fixings. Similarly, integral seal screws can also be used in sensitive applications where it is necessary to stop oil from being released. Integral seal screws come in variety of different types. Pan-head sealing screws with either a Phillips drive or a slotted drive are very common. Materials can be used to best suit the needs of the intended applications, for example with particular resistance to certain chemicals. Various thread sizes are available in all types of integral seal screws. If conventional pan-heads are not appropriate for the chosen application, sealing screws can also be found in cap head designs, alongside button head and countersunk versions. Integral seal screws are specialized screws that are ideal for use in a wide variety of applications, especially where it is necessary to ensure that water, oils, other fluids or gases do not enter the application area, or are released from it. With a diverse range of materials used, specific head types and thread sizes, integral seal screws are extremely versatile and useful in many domestic and industrial applications.
