ECG Machines and Accessories

An ECG machine is used to record the electrical activity of the heart using electrodes (usually 10) on the skin (limbs and chest). Through the electrodes, tiny electrical changes that arise from the heart muscle during each heartbeat are detected in what is considered a common cardiology test. Types of ECG machines include telectrocardiogram, wireless ECG, Holter monitor test, cardiac event recorder, cardiac loop recorder, electrocardiograph, implantable loop recorder, and stress ECG. Common ECG accessories include electrodes, cardiometer and software. ECG machines are used by medical professionals including doctors, specialists and surgeons in hospitals, medical centres and universities.
