Bookcases

Bookcases or Bookshelves are specially designed pieces of furniture with horizontal shelves for holding books. Bookcases may be made up of wood or metal and can be separate structures or embedded into walls. Bookcases are an integral part of office furniture, although their use is not limited to just offices as bookcases can also be found in schools, universities, libraries and homes. Modern bookcases come with 2,3 or 4 height adjustable shelves and come in a wide variety. The cost of a bookcase depends on on the type of material used, finishing, colour, number of shelves etc. A bookcase can also be used for holding files or folders in an office, and they are an excellent way to manage the storage space in an office. Bookcases may be with doors or without doors, although most high-quality ones have doors or a glass screen which allows one to see the titles of books without having access to the bookcase if it is locked.
