Pedestals

Office pedestals provide an easy and effective way for storing documents, files, folders and other products used in an office. Most office pedestals have 2 or 3 drawers although custom designs can accommodate a larger number of drawers. Most office pedestals are made up of particle board or MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) which is a specially engineered for making durable furniture. Pedestals can be standalone or hanging pedestals which are often found attached to various types of desks. Pedestals are made up of 18mm to 30mm thick particle board as this provides additional strength and durability. Metal pedestals are also available but are not as common as wooden ones. Another important feature is locked which are often present in metal pedestals but are rare in wooden ones. Many pedestals may also have a separate filing drawer for holding files and folders in addition to normal drawers.
